Miami Beach Nail Company, a division of Miami Beach Worldwide, Inc. and headquartered in Florida, was founded by Mimi DeArmond in 1999. A true visionary, she saw how beautiful hands could improve the confidence of any woman and in 1980 she opened her first Armonds nail salon. Dissatisfied with the quality of the products available to her, Mimi worked tirelessly with manufacturers to develop the perfect acrylic nail: not damaging, easy to wear, easy to apply, and fabulous looking!

Her work paid off when in 1984, "Vogue" magazine voted her products "best nails" and did an article about her. Her Armonds chain exploded in the 80's and 90's as she opened salons throughout the country. As the nail business began to change, she began focusing first on wholesale delivery and then the home use of her signature products, and the Miami Beach Nail Company was born!
